Hey guys,

So I finally bought myself a truck. 2006 Toyota Tundra 2wd.
I'm looking for a place near St. Louis to play with it a little bit. I'm  not looking for a rock park or anything for crazy 4 wheeling (Been there, done that with my parents and their Jeep). But something to test my truck a little bit. Crossing the creek at the Convservation range near Warrenton is a little boring
Thanks for the help!

So you bought a 2wd truck and want to "lightly offroad" it?  I think basically you are looking for some loose gravel to spin your tires in?

I didn't buy the truck to off-road. I bought the truck for towing, and other purposes which I use it for regularly. I just though maybe I could do some other things with it like alot of other people do.
It's like a ar-15 rifle. I bought it for target shooting and plinking which I do mostly, but I can use it for self defense, competition shooting, and other things.

Got a ditch in your front yard????  It's customary for my family to see if their new vehicle will cross my ditch. (it's only like 2-3 ft deep but one side is straight up and down).   You could always try something like that......As for offroading, I've seen a many a 2wd trucks follow the off roaders around.........whether it be by their own accord or from the tug of chain.  So if you going to try some light off roading better take a buddy with a 4wd.

St. Joes.....
Take a buddy with a 4x4 to give you a tug when you get stock. Loads of fun and most of it navigable in 2wd.

BTW, I go down there occasionally, If you like I will let you know next time I go down there.

I'd be glad to go with you if you need a 4x4 to tag along.

If it's on a week day or a Sunday, and I can drive my Razr rather than my truck...
