So I bought one of those MK3 threaded uppers from gemtec. Its really sweet and the thread protector blends in really well. I got it home tonight and tried to fit it to my mk2 frame and the dam thing doesnt fit. the piece in the front of the old upper is rounded and the new mk3 one is flat so it doesnt fit. Anyone know if I can fix it so it will? I know i need to modify the bolt becaue of the loaded chamber thing on the mk3 that wasnt on the mk 2 so the bolt isnt the same. I sent an IM to gemtec askign them the same question but was hoping someone here could help me out.
