Just watched an episode of the A-Team.
Man, I loved that show when it was on. I always thought that the stainless AK's they used looked bitch. What a great show that was. Why don't they make cool shows like that anymore? These days it's all about cop drama (which I don't watch because either I don't like to bring home work or they suck and are unrealistic) or stupid reality shows. What ever happened to quality entertainment? Good family night shows? Has anyone seen what is on Saturday morning cartoons these days? What ever happened to funny cartoons like Looney Toons? Now it is all about which monster I can turn into by pulling a stupid card out of my pocket. I am starting to sound like an old man.... ETA: With a little bit of research, I learned that the A-Team used Ruger AC556's. They stil looked bitch in stainless. |

No doubt, the A Team is one of the best shows ever! I also really liked Tour Of Duty, Blue Thunder and so on... I rember as a kid Friday nights were family night where we popped popcorn and actually watched t.v. Usually we did not watch t.v. most other nights. Tour of Duty was one of my favorites back in the 80's too, along with Simon & Simon and Magnum P.I. Since we're going down Memory Lane I'm going to step back a little further and really age myself. Combat and 12 O' Clock High were 2 shows that Dad and I would never miss. I wish there was still stuff like that on TV! Rick SGF, Mo. |

It was never on in the town I grew up in, but whenever we visited Kansas City, Dad and I would always sit down and watch The Wild Wild West. That was a GREAT show.
As a family, we used to sit down as a family and watch, almost without fail: The Cosby Show Family Ties The A-Team Dukes of Hazard Amazing Stories Disney Family Movie Night (I don't remember the name of the show, but I'm sure ya'll remember...) Fall Guy Recently, there was a Three Stooges marathon on KPLR. The boys watched it and it was the first time that I had heard boisterous laughter coming out of the TV room in a LOOONNNGGG time. Usually they are just glued to the idiot box with a lost look on thier faces. I also got my hands on some old Looney Tunes tapes. Again, same result. Laughter. I enjoyed watching it with them too. |

I couldn't help but think of an old blog article about the A-Team. It's economic/political in nature so a little dry on the humor side.
A-Team Stands for Anarcho-Capitalism I was always fond of MASH. |
