Are the MVACA shows anything like the RK shows?  I mean, will there be alot of the same vendors there?

Thanks

MVACA shows are collector shows.
There will be collectors there with exhibits in addition to the trade tables.
MVACA shows I have been to in the past were about 50/50, you will see some of the same vendors you are used to seeing, but some will not be there.
It has been a little while since I have been to one of the twice annual MVACA events, but they are usually quite large.

There are guys with all kinds of  P38s or Lugers or Springfields or Krags or 1911s or Model 12s and 42s.

If you are interested in only EBRs you might be disappointed.

Summed it up well.  I will just add that it really is worth going to one of the Collector Shows at least once.  I'm a Luger fan, so I always like seeing that one guys display.  Another time there was a really interesting WWI machine gun display.

But yeah, they're not really a 'gun show' in terms of beef jerky and beanie babies...

+1!

I can easily spend 4 hours just walking around once to look at all the displays of cool stuff. Of course that was before Osama got elected and the panic buying frenzy took over.    Expect a crowd, especially around any table offering wares related to EBRs or bulk ammo.  I just hope the floor isn't all greasy & slippery like it was at the last show held there.

That said, I will be there if for no other reason than to waste the aforementioned 4+ hours looking at cool old stuff.    Not sure if I need to buy anything at this show, but you never know what might jump off the table an into your gear bag.
