I went to the gun show on Sat for a few things and saw a few ARFCOM-ers as well.

On the way out, I was walking behind a man who was pushing a 2 wheeled dolly.  On the dolly was 3 cases of ammo and 1 or 2 rifles.  As I walked past him, I was just making conversation, and I said "Looks like you came prepared", meaning the dolly and not having to carry the ammo.  Without missing a beat, he looked at me and 1/2 smiled and said "No, I'm leaving prepared".

That statement has stuck with me all weekend.  I guess in 24hrs or so, we will know...

On a side note, my Approved Form 1 came in today (73 days).

I heard a doozie about some "govenment contract leftovers, blah blah blah"

I just smiled and walked away.

I was at the CMMG tables and overheard two guys talking with Jeff and one said "Oh no, I'm not buying it for him...he's just loaning me some money so I can buy it...It's not straw".

Jeff looked like this ––>

Oh and Jeff...by the way...your .22 conversion kits DO WORK in the P.O. Carbon-15 pistols. Just have to remove the recoil spring and the recoil buffer and it works just fine so I will be picking one of those up in the near future. I HIGHLY recommend one of these to anyone with an AR!

I saw several ARFCOMers there with their shirts and got to talk to most of them. I also found a few good deals on some ammo. I picked up some .50BMG unbelievably cheap, I got a box of .308 Black Talons for $20 that sell for about $100 on GB and I found half a box of .308 Accelerators for a buck a pop but that was it.

It was crowded both days. There is another show in a month and I want to see how much the volume changes with tomorrow's results.

39 days and counting[>:/], I guess mine could be back just in time for an early Christmas present.
