[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Free float forearm DIY guidance

Is there anyone around the Springfield area that can help me install a free float forarm? I like DIY projects
and I have disassembled/reassembled just about everything on an AR, but I never have never tried a FF
before. I just ordered a LaRue Tactical 12 inch free-float railed forearm for one of my AR's and I need to order a
lo-pro gas block. If anyone has the tools, talent and time to help me out I would sure appreciate it.

And I'll bring the beer.

If Rick can't I have all the tools you'd need if you wanted to borrow them. I'd be glad to help but my work schedule is erratic so planning anything is difficult.
