[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Free VCRs anyone?

Anyone in the KC area need or want a couple free stereo VCRs?

I just threw out the last of my old VCR tapes so obviously I won't be needing these units any longer. One is a Sony HiFi unit about 10yrs old. To the best of my recollection it works. The other is a Fisher HiFi unit about 8yrs old and it definitely worked last time I used it. The Fisher is new enough to have VCR+ abilities. I believe I have the remotes for both but no boxes, manuals or cables.

They're free for the asking.

What's a VCR?

I haven't owned one of those for 6 or 8 years! I tease some of my buddies that still do!

Good luck, you may as well just take them to the range and balst 'em.

Check with some school districts (no not Raytown!!!)
Or just donate them to Goodwill.
