I'm gong to see Garth tonight and I've seen that they have metal detectors so the knives and guns are out.  Anybody have any problems with surefire lights?

I saw Garth last night (the 11th).  Security was a joke.  Yes, everyone had to go through metal detectors.  I "accidentally" left my large keyring with keys in my pockets and the thing never hit on that at all.  They seemed very laid back.

BTW, it was by far and away the best show I ahve ever seen.  Not a huge country fan and I have seen some very good shows.  Previous best concert guaged over entertainment value was in 92 or 93; Guns N Roses/Metallica with Faith No More opening them up in Houston, Tx at the Astrodome.  Enjoy.

On a side note regarding parking; go to 10th and Main and turn south onto Main.  approx 2 blocks down on your right is a parking garage for the Sprint Center.  5 bucks and 5 block walk.  No line to get out at all.

Yeah - I remember when that one came through.  I'm still kicking myself for not going.

I saw Guns N Roses/Metallica, and Body Count (with Ice-T) at Arrowhead around 92 or 93. I was in the Marines and worked with about 30 civilian women at the time. They all knew that I was going to the concert. It was all over the news the next day that GnR had planted strippers in the crowd to lift up their tops and show their boobs to get the women in the crowd to follow suit. It sure worked and all the women I worked with would pretend to lift up their tops for weeks after the concert. I wonder if I was being sexually harassed at my work place.
