We are looking to expand the range by the February shoot.  The first pistol bay(where the jeep is) will have a concrete culvert added to make it a multi-gun stage.  Shooters will engave with pistol, got through tunnel and engage flash targets with rifle.  Targets will not need to be reset so there is no danger from the other bays.

The next bay over has been out shotgun bay.  We added a second concrete culvert to turn the shotgun stage into a multigun stage as well.  Shooters will fire shotgun, leave it on the shotgun stage, move through tunnel two and engave with rifle or pistol(whatever we set up)

This is still a work in progress but I think we will be able to get it done.  This will definitely mix things up a bit.

I drew out the COF 1(pistol/rifle) in the first pistol/new addition area and COF 2(pistol/Rifle) on our subgun range.

Cool, so i take it the culvert is gonna be pretty large, are we gonna be able to walk upright thru it or have to crawl thu? Only thing i see missing is 1000yd range

It just keeps geting btter and better out there. Where is the kill house gonna go? NOt that would be cool to run thru.

Sapper, look at the diagram again. From what I see, it say 4' colvert, so I presume that these concrete pipes are 4 foot diameter across.

I must be getting too old to get real excited about going out in Feb (see cold and maybe wet) to go shooting. See you all at the range next year when things are nicer.

There's a man my dad taught middle school with in Grandview for nearly 15 years who had been a tunnel rat in Vietnam.  He liked it so much he re-upped for a second tour and requested the same AO, in Cu Chi I believe.

Everyone at the school thought he was genuinely nuts, but he loved children and was a good teacher.
