i will be coming to the springfield/branson area in a few weeks. is there anywhere that i have to hit? is there any place to run a few rounds through a pistol in the area? i have been in the area many times in the past, but never got too far off the beaten path. Thanks Brett |

Busiek State Park/Forest is between Springfield and Branson, right on Hwy 65. There's an unsupervised range located there. I think it's closed on Mondays though for clean up. There is a supervised range just west of Springfield at Bois d'Arc. I've never been to that one, but I've heard it's pretty nice from folks that have used it. Rick SGF, Mo. |

thanks guys, i have been to bass pro.......kinda dont want to go back, the service in the aisles really sucked when i was there this past spring. i drive past the sporting clays everytime i go down, do they have "rental guns"? all that i will be bringing with me would be a couple of revolvers. they dont seem to hit thrown clays too well. i will definatley check out the museum at the college. we sat down for dinner there for the first time in about 10-15 years this past spring, that was quite a change from the way it used to be. thanks for the info, Brett |
