Guys, I need some recomendations of some people good with 1911's. I've got a basic SA GI 1911-a1 and would like some work done on it, dura cote it etc. Any recomendations in the St. Louis and Metro areas?

Duke is in Holden MO... outside of KC.  I haven't had him do any work for me yet but he's been super helpful and is always on here.  Might be time for you to head down I 70 make a pitstop at CMMG then come on through to KC.  I know I'm always looking for excuses, I mean reasons why I have to go back and forth.  :)

Go with Missouri Custom Armament. Duke has worked on two of my 1911's. Great job and at a great price.

I live close to STL and I am not up for driving to the KC area. What would be the best way for me to get a firearm shipped to Duke and his place to work on it?

http://www.mcarms.com/  Here is his website.

I think someone else may have linked it too... but I'd go there and then email or call him up and see how he'd prefer to get it.
