How many handguns can I buy before "they" file a multiple purchase report on me in Missouri? Is there a time frame involved?

2 in a week I think. That's across the board at the Federal level.

actually, in MO you can buy 1 per day. I have bought pairs of single action six shooters for cowboy action shooting and was told 1 per day.

You can BUY as many as you want in any time period you want so long as you have money. If you buy two handguns in one week from the same dealer, they have to send in paperwork to the ATF.

The key is in red above. You can buy ten in one day from 10 different dealers and never have the multiple paper work come up.
