| I'm looking for a source of a detailed map of Reynolds County. I'm interested in buying some land there and need to find a map of rural roads in the area south of Lesterville and west of Annapolis. Specifically, it's county section 23. |
| My work sends me to a lot of different remote places here in MO, and the best map I have come across is called "Missouri Atlas & Gazetteer" by DeLorme. It has detailed topographic maps of the entire state, and includes listings for outdoor recreation, places to go, things to do, and all around reference. It covers most all backroads, and shows GPS grids. Hope this helps... |

Contact the national forest service ranger office in Potosi, they have maps like that for the Mark Twain forest area and I am sure they know how to get other areas as well. Or you could just contact Branch of Distribution US Geological Survey Box 25286, Denver Federal Center Denver, Co. 80225 (At least that is the reference my topo of Mark Twain National Forest lists for more maps and info.) ETA; I have a few acres down there myself, off of hwy W between Ellington and Annapolis. Not like I ever get down there except once a year at the best but I do kinda know the area. |

Call the county and just ask for a county road map. The Conservation Department sells the "Conservation Atlas" which is nothing more than a collection of county road maps with Conservation Areas and so on shown; these are about $19 or so. I keep a copy of the Gazeteer and the Conservation Atlas in my truck. |
