Sucks, I had to put it down long enough to take a few pictures of her. I got her today, just in time for the CMMG shoot tomorrow.

| I am not sure, it has been a while. It may have been the last shoot. I only brought it to the last shoot I went to though. I don't really remember though since it was quite a while ago. I've not actually shot the leveraction since then.....I need to get a bullet mold for it and start casting. |

It was nice meeting you also. Did you get the 7.62 SBR running? It sucked having to leave early but the General had class and homework so I had to watch the little one. The new toy runns sweet dosent it? It has a little bite to it also! Just like Duke said, I think I'm going to get the 1" pad for the ACE.I got to hear the 1919 in the morninig, man was that thing SWEET! |
Sorry, I missed this post. Obviously I wasn't able to make the shoot.  Sounds like I missed another great one.Also sounds like you enjoyed your new toy. How many rounds did you run through it? Did everything function OK? What kind of loads were you shooting? I hope to see it soon. We need to get together over at Benchrest again. I'll bring mine and we can wring um out good! |

That's ok I saw in the other post that you were not going to be there, you missed a good shoot. There wasn't 200 people there that you didnt know, I'm sure CMMG didn't come out ahead though. New toy Mongo Like heheheheheheheheheheheheheh(giggling like a little girl) Had a few malfuntions but nothing that a little lube wouldnt of taken care of. I ran 89 rounds threw it, 20 rounds 500gr(10rds 30gr H4198 500grRNSP, 10rds 30.5gr H4198 500grRNSP), 30 rounds of 38 gr H110 300grHP hand loads and 39 rounds of COR BON 300grHP. All brass looked good, had a little bit of bolt impression on the brass. I got some R7 tonight to try. Have heard a lot of good things about it. We need to do Bench Rest SOON. Sounds like a great time. I know we missed a really fun shoot. After 89 rounds I bet you felt it the next morning. Of course, I bet you had some help shooting all of those. Its nice to hear those loads worked well in your rifle. I know for a fact that the 38grs. of H110 for the 300grHP would be WAY too much in my upper. I don't know why though. Had it checked out and everything is supposed to be OK.[shrug] I'm gonna have to try the R7 also. It sounds like the powder to use. If you want to we can get together after work next week. IM me with your schedule and we'll see what we can do. Again, congratulations on the new rifle. It looks great! |
