I am getting a pennsylvania CCW. Wht? because I have this sneaky feeling this is gonna be a mess here and the Pa. permit is only twenty bucks and can be done through the mail. Mo. will have reprocity with Pa. and I am willing to bet a small town sheriff in the middle of the mountains will be at least ten times faster processing paperwork than any medium size bassackward Mo. city.
See y'all next week.. :)

LOL! I think that's a great idea.

I love it when loopholes (for lack of a better term) work in our favor.

My county isn't up for debate (as of right now), but it may not be a bad idea just in case..........

Hey GaryM! I am seriously considering the same thing. That or maybe Florida's. But it is more expensive. My parents have a place down there, so I get down there every now and then. They were the first CCW state anyway, weren't they? I'm sure Missouri's money is good in one of those places. They sure don't act like they want my money here!
I think I am going to wait the 15 days and then see what happens before I apply anywhere else.

Out of state applicants must obtain and furnish a photo copy of license to carry from their home state if that state has license to carry provisions.

anybody notice that part?

Ok, what's the scoop regarding that issue? Is Penn. a no go then?

Of course, my county is now not issueing licenses. And they're talking like it's going to be at least a couple of months.

Oopsie.  Looks like they pulled the form.  I'll wait and see if the sheriff cashes my check...

I heard something about Penn. putting a hold on CCW permits from Mo. Something about them getting over 600 requests already. Hmmmm......might be time to flood Florida next......
