so what's everybody bringing to the shoot? last July I think I brung to much crap, I think im only going bring my colt and bushmaster and loaded 30 round mags. seems a lot easier than all the stuff I hauled with me last time that I didn't even get to shoot due to the heat. just wanting to know if anybody wants to shoot something the never have before, like a m1 grand, or some other piece of military history. if I have it I can bring it. Lets see, I figure on bringing my uber-sniper AR, my girlfriend's AR carbine (she can't make it to the shoot but said I could borrow her gun), both my AKs, my "big Tac" USP, probably my FAL, maybe a Mosin-Nagant M44 carbine, and a sharp pointy stick.

How about we put up a wish list for what folk would like to see. If anyone here has one and doesn't mind showing it off then those who would like to have a look/testfire will have a chance to do so.
I can offer a M1 Garand and a M1 Carbine plus a few more if requested.
As for me if anyone has something like an AR10... well, I wouldn't mind poppping off a round or two out of one just for the heck of it.
Of course the guest shooter should at least offer to bring their own ammo.

Aside from your firearms, ya'll might want to bring:

Blanket(s)- The shooting tables are concrete
Chairs
Clothspins(sp?)-the spring ones.  Good for attaching cardboard to the target stands.

Speaking of cardboard, I'll be bringing a bunch with me, along with a bunch of silohuettes(spell check again-damn I need to just send in my money[:\]) that I've cut out.  Roughly IPSC size.

Good call Shaky...

If anyone needs to zero their rifles - might want to bring a rifle rest/stand with those blankets...

I'll be bringing my Bushmaster, a Mossberg 500, and my CZ-75b...

Yep, pretty much everything I've got...

I'd like to plink off a few from that Dane Garand...
That's the type I was told to pick up via CMP...
so I'll be checking it out "closely"...

I don't really have anything super cool.
I'll probably just bring my AR and atleast 1 AK.

Well, if your asking...

Things I've never shot:

M1 Garand
M1 carbine
any HK rifle
HK USP
SIG handguns
1911
Benelli M1 shotgun
.50 cal
Most semi-auto rifles besides AR, AK, FAL

I know, it's pitiful.

Sounds good!

I'll bring my home-built Imbel FAL and we can swap for awhile.

[#14]

Here's what I'll bring for sure:

-BM AR carbine
-Glock 22 - I really need to practice for the  HP academy starting in June.
-Imbel FAL or my DSA STG
-One of my AK's- SAR-1, SAR-2, or SSR-85B

Stuff I'm planning on leaving at home unless someone really wants to shoot:

-Beretta M9
-Bulgarian Makarov
-Yugo SKS
-Norinco SKS
-3/4 of my AKs
-Marlin 1894 30-30
-all 4 of my Mausers, 3 yugos and a FR-8
-one of my FALs
-.22 rifles...duh

I've only been collecting for 2 years...

But, I've got buco parts kits laying around since I started home building.  2 AR-15's about half way done and 4 un-built FAL kits.  I kinda want to hold off buying a $200 AR barrel until the AWB goes away...

My son and I did get quite a kick out of one of your "AR's".  Thanks for sharing.  I might have to get one of those.

Glad you liked it. It was a blast watching everyone try it out. If you want to learn more about the 458 Socom go to Tromix Lead Delivery Systems. Or to Teppo Jutsu. Marty from Teppo Jutsu is where we got ours in the group purchase. That thread is  here.

Thanks again Eric for letting shoot the .458 SOCOM too! Definitely an unique weapon.
