Any other pull a part type junkyards in the B'ham metro area besides the actual Pull A Part place on Vanderbilt Rd?

use to be one up on cherry street i think. up around where the new interstate is gonna connect to 65. can't think of the name.

Do they still have a 'cover' charge to even go in there? I went there once and thought it odd to charge money to get in a junkyard where you have to do the work yourself.

Try Fagan's Wrecker in Piedmont. It's not really a pull a part, but they have a large lot and may have what you are looking for. If it is for your part time job they will probably make you a pretty good deal.

There's some sort of junkyard on 150 between Hoover and Bessemer. I don't know anything about it, but it might be worth a call.

There's one on Ruffner Road, Palmer or something like that and there used to be Giant Auto parts somewhere south of town.

There is another place on HWY 150 but I am not sure if it is an insurance auction place or not.

Sorry I don't know any names. I have a crap memory these days.

What year crown vic and what part you need? The Village Marshal doesn't do anything so I'd be glad to get whatever part you need of his car. Not like he would miss it.
