Going North from downtown Bham....... There is an on ramp that comes up between the West Bound and East Bound sides of traffic and merges into the West Bound Traffic on I-20 / I-59. Which street do I need to be on going north toward I-20 so that I can get on this ramp?
edited to add: This would allow me to merge onto I-65 South without having to cross several lanes of I-20/59. |

I think you're talking about the one right by the Civic Center?
If so, you have to be north and come by the CC and the ramp is between the northa dn south bound lanes. It's a little weird, but if you go round the CC to the north, then make a right, you'll see the signage. Sorry I don't know the street names...hoipe that helps a little Spoon |
Is this the one that would put you in the far right lane? The OP wants to be in the far left left to merge to 65 south without having to cross 4 lanes of interstate traffic in less than half a mile.Smitty908 shows him the way I leave from gunshows to head back to Prattville (Montgomery area). Much easier this way, after I found it, than having to jump from one side of the interstate to the other.

I've made that mad swing to the left (to get on I-65S) more times than I can count from that on-ramp right next to the BJCC –– never an incident, but it's also never what I'd call "fun." |

And on top of that, it is on the Civic Center side of the interstate, Not in the middle. Impeach Obama for the Good of the Children. |
