What's the best price for a 6920 you've seen locally (Bham)? |

While it's been a month or so Marks Outdoors had a pretty inflated price. Maybe it's come down a little bit but I doubt it's as good as you'll find online.
Maybe try SE Guns, they'll probably have the most "up to date" prices around. Can you not buy online and have it sent to a local FFL? |

I stopped by Mark's last week and all of their AR prices that I noticed were back down to what I'd call "reasonable" –– but I didn't notice if they had a 6920 on hand, let alone a price on one. Sorry.  (I was too busy debating buy/don't buy in my head over a used but LNIB FS2000 they had... I managed to walk away without it, and only bought a few of the Kriss 30-round G21 mags they had gotten in.  ) |
Kinda steep IMO. Strange thing I've noticed about Mark's, they tend to be WAY overpriced or quite resonable with very littl "in-between". That, and they try to ass-rape you on any kind of transfer...

if you want to make a day of it, Clyde Armory is a good 4 hr drive from Bham. I just picked one up monday. Im a born again Colt enthusiast after learning that current production 6920's and 6940's now have milspec .154 dia. fire control pins. before tax, tag and title, I got it at $1249
I estimated at least 750 6920's, 6721's, 6520's and 6940's on the sales floor' mostly in boxes or on the floor racks. only thing behind the counter is pistol ammo. If you want t a really a deal, they have about 10 used police trade in 6920's, all large, .170 fire control pin guns though. they were priced in the $850-890 range. I checked every one. If you make the drive, you wont regret it. the store is black rifle oriented. even had a 10.5" HK416 upper on a 6921 lower on the floor rack. |
