I will not be shooting this month, but Zombie will be match director in my absence. We need a couple of experienced members to show up and help out.
Looks like good weather for it. |

IF anyone can bring some Pasties it would be greatly appreciated, Ken is out of town for me to pick some up. Otherwise we'll be using masking tape (which won't be to bad) Got it. Anything else? RM only had a couple of pick ups, but had a stage where the shooter had four positions on long range and could pick which weapon from which position, all laid out at each position. Shoot each weapon from two spots. 50 yd HG, 100 yd slugs and 300+ yd rifle were what most folks chose to shoot. The short vids don't do the stages justice. |

Thanks Buzz, and I'll be able to give you some back in April.
Bring the flashers for the long range, if team coonass crew brings some as well then it will be a good long range shoot. in April I would like you to bring the two swingers. I've got a killer idea for them. |

Zombiekiller and his crew did a good job. Thanks for all the hard work. Good to see everyone. Might be a tad early, (but I doubt it Now to be an ass. If the RO can't DQ someone, because the RO is not a member, then only members should RO, and non members will be free to shoot and reset the stage. I won't get into what brings this comment on, but this needs to be addressed. |

I'd like to know what happened, but the R.O is "the word" on safety, member or not. I prefer to have members as squad leaders in case an officer shows up... because a member is ultimately responsible and knowledgeable of range rules. At least as far as the officers are concerned, I know some of ya'll have way more experience than us. Problem is, we've been having way more non members vs members- nobodies fault, just happening that way.
Also, there are a lot of "politics" going on at the club which isn't our fault, doesn't really concern us, but it might end up affecting us (nothing happening yet, so don't worry.) Before the next match I will put together a list of "instant DQs" which will be added into the safety brief. Safety is priority one, no matter whose feelings get hurt. Buzz, if you could IM me for a discussion on what you think should be on such a list I would appreciate it. |
