I will give credit to the MSU QB, he showed a lot of heart. He does. He's not a terrible QB and can make things happen sometimes. Everything else on O just doesn't mesh together. I'm convinced part of it is coaching. I like Sly Croom but I think he has no clue how to build a college offense and Woody McCorvey is just an idiot. McCorvey has something like 3 plays that he uses "eeny meeny miney moe" to pick from. 
That was honestly the best I've seen us play all year and i think had we been playing anyone else, we might have won that game. We just don't have the talent level that lets you make things happen and especially not to make them happen quickly or explosively. 2 big things that need to happen with us is we need a REALLY good recruiter and we need to send McCorvey to the unemployment line, open the wallet and get a real O coordinator... I was actually at the game and had Bama fans around me bitching about the 4th Q field goal because "State might come back to win" despite being down 4 TDs. I turned around and was like "Guys, you do realize there's only been one time this year where we scored 4 TDs in a game much less in a single quarter."

Bama played poor ball the first half. Obviously special teams kept us in it. Julio knocked the hell out of Derrick Pegues(sp?) Mark Ingram is a beast McElroy looked decent in the series he played at the end State secondary did a suprisingly decent job all in all just a letdown game for Bama coming off the OT win at LSU Gotta be ready for auburn in 2 weeks Roll Tide |

The score should have been much worse than 32-7.............of course, punting to our anus, according to Sancho, was a mistake...........since he ran over the Missy State special teams
