I picked it up on Thursday. Its a Gem-Tech HALO and all I can say is that It is a blast to shoot.

I ordered it from Impactguns and I went threw Ginns Gunworks and Trading Post. He's a small dealer in Tylertown but he is a real good guy. If I would have known better I would have ordered from him cause he would have saved me a little on it. |

I do live in Canton but he was the only guy I could get a hold of so I went with him. what dealers are you thinking of just for future reference? |

ryan hood...he is an attorney who owns a pawn shop on hwy 80 right off of 220 across from metro center mall. he will do anything but pretty much only does suppressors. the only problem with him is he is not a stocking dealer usually...but will soemtimes have some things in. i bought my gemtech outback II from him. he pretty much only does business by word of mouth and uses his license to buy stuff for himself more than anything. the second is donald ray criswell (sp?..i think thats his name) in flora, but i have never bought anything through him or from him but he seems to be a nice guy and straight up. he is usually set up at all of the gun shows in jackson and is always willing to talk and answer question when people gather around his table. that goes a long way for me. another i highly recommend that is not in the jackson metro but is not too far is tim coleman at grenada gold n gun exchange. he is on hwy 51 in grenada so just about an hours drive up 55 from you. tim is a very nice guy and usually tries to keep a few suppressors in stock. i will buy my next can from him for sure. mostly that is because i live in starkville and he is closest, plus he is a super guy. he shoots alot of idpa and stuff and deals alot with mike rowe at tupelo weaponry in tupelo who i have gotten to know pretty well. i know of the other guys cause i used to live in madison, but now work in northeast MS. my folks still have a house in madison. we need to get a shoot together sometime soon with guys from here in central MS, cant let the guys on the coast out do us! |
Hey thanks for the info, I think im going to check out that guy in Grenada. Also about getting together and shooting, that is a great Idea. I have only been to one PR match out here and that was down by the coast and that's to damn far. My schedule is pretty open minus Monday and Wednesday's drop me a line if you want to get together. |
