What's the best age to 1st breed a German Shepherd female? Thanks

My standard response is second heat or later. For larger breed dogs, I'm happier if it's third heat or later, but that's one man's opinion. I could also talk your ears off about OFA certification, etc... but you probably know about that already. -Hobbit

Thanks. Certified before I bought her and I then had it checked too. 100% German blood. Already had second but seems young at 17 mos.
