Give me some places to buy powder and primers locally, that includes you Alabama guys.  I'm just getting into this and I've found out how bad hazmat fees on shipping SUCK.  No local gun shops that I deal with touch reloading supplies.

zero bullets from Cullman Al

You can go pick up the stuff at cullman, I go every once in awhile to pick up primers and kegs of powder. The lead bullets come with free shipping.

Another suggestion..go to a local gunshow. There should be plenty of vendors there with reloading supplies.

Powder and primers can be handled by Shooters Club in New Orleans. They have a decent selection, and I think will order powders for you to be included in their next order.

If you don't find what you want at the Slidell show the one in Kenner (New Orleans metro area) has a dealer that has a great assortment of reloading supplies.

I looked at the slidell show, the thing is I've commited to reload in the past couple of days and didn't realize the hazmat fees are as high as they are, so I didn't buy any powder/primers.  I almost bought the RCBS kit the guy had but decided since I wouldn't have everything else I need for a week or two it wasn't worth paying his price.

When is the next gun show at the ponchatrain center?

ETA: NM, found it

my advise is for you guys to do what we do. Get several folks together and place bulk powder and bullet orders. We buy primers locally but everything else online. Ususally order about 80+lbs of powder at a time. makes the hazmat and shipping much easier to take.

In Chalmette, LA.  (wherever that is)

Tom and Romona come to MS for the large matches, and always have the best prices on powder, bullets, and primers.  I usually postpone my bulk component buying until they come to town; all the local places are much more expensive.
