After the young man stopped the criminal in Kroger I sent email and they need to hear from others that this guy did the heroic thing and may have saved lives. Anyone who shops at Kroger or Payless needs to let them know NOW so this hero isn’t vilified.

How true, but since he violated Co. policy Im sure he will  be terminated. Corporate will take over the investigation and they are non caring, zero tolerant cover Krogers a$$ thugs. Look at cases from Pizza Hut, Dominos etc.... Hopefully they promote the guy but only time will tell.

I've pretty much given up on Kroger before this happened.

If he gets canned, I'm cutting my plus card up and mailing it back with a letter of FU.

Used to work there, it was actually my first official job. It's just another union ran corporation that run based on "rules" and that's it.
No common sense needed, they have a rule book and if 'A' happens, then we must do 'B' because it's the rules...

I like Kroger as a store and I have great memories working there, believe it or not but it seems most large corporations have shitty rules and they stand by them to cover their asses.
