I was drawing unemployment.  I accepted a job last week.
Is there something I need to change on-line or do I just smiply quit filing?

I haven't had time to call DWD yet to find out.

Just dont file for that week. The state can tell if you are employed based on the money that your employer is paying into UI. If you get laid off again you just have to go through the same filing process but do not need to sign up again. I spent a lot of last year on Unenjoyment so I know the process pretty well.

File the claim, you need to answer that you found a job.  They will contact you.  If you started the job in the middle of the week, you will get a partial payment.

When I went back to work they told me to just quit filing claims the day before I started work.  Congrats on your job. Hopefully its a decent job and not something you settled for.

You can claim for a partial payment, as long as you income for that week is anything less than what you UI was for, but they wont contact you. They only time they will ever try and get ahold of you is if you filed a claim and you were working. Then theyll make sure they get that money back.

Thanks everyone.
I may give them a call if I get a chance, but it sounds like doing nothing works.

Unfortunatey, it is something I settled with until something opens up related to my degree.
But it gets me off my ass.

Well good luck to ya. Like I said I sat on unemployment for about 9 months out of the year last year before I landed this job. Just be patient.

+1   just stop filing.

I was on unemployment and subpay for 1 year and then my unemp ext was up after a total of 14 mos and a few weeks, I finally found a job and then was offered another 20 weeks ext. from unemp.

Hang in there, there seems to be more openings every week, even my employer is talking of hiring a few more people..... even though we are basically on no OT and the work load is light.... too light!!!
