Why not purchase them as a trust, not individual?

Can you explain this "Trust" issue in more detail for those of us who do not understand or unaware of this process. Thanks.

I am looking into the trust at this time I know you can have it done by a lawyer but it is around 700.00 from what I hear I am looking into using quicken wills I will post more information.

When you create a trust the NFA item is acutlly owned by the trust which is you and whom ever you entrust when you are unable to function or you die by doing this you dont need the CLEO approval or finger print cards. please understand i have never used this method and at this time are just finding out how all this works the inforamtion above is what i have found to this point. So dont hold this as being 100% i am still working on it.

I did some more digging and found this sight it is very informative as to how to go about creating and using a trust I will be getting my trust set up in the next two days thru Quicken wills and will advise how it went.

ARFCOM has an NFA section that you might find interesting.  There is also a tacked thread that discusses trusts for NFA.  Click the "Armory" tab at the top of this page then scroll down to the "NFA/Class 3" section.  Lots of good info there.
