I would like to be optimistic but I dont think it would work out.  The senate has passed the spendulus bill and now its at the house.  Guys, I have a really bad sense if this doesn't work out, Americans are going to become restless and shtf scenarios are going to be set in motion.  It's time to stand the f*ck by gentlemen.  Sh*ts about to get crazy.

It won't get really bad until the bossman starts telling folks that he can't pay them.

Times are really uncertain right now. I hope that all this mess with the economy will get straightened out, but I know better. The assholes in the House and Senate have sold this country down the river....literally!!

No, you guys are right. At this point it doesnt matter what happens, we are without a paddle so to speak. Ive had this conversation with my girl and Ive told her that I wont even bring a child into this world with where we are at right now. We are all in for some serious problems and we havent seen the worst yet. All the problems that we see now are going to multiply 10 fold and are going to last a decade before they get better. I hope your prepared.

i have two days left for leave.  If I had more time I would try and call for an Arfcommer meeting of some sort to try and talk this out face to face.  Obviously opsec prohibits us from talking about certain things on here.

I don't know how severely of a SHTF scenario is in the near future, but one of the social problems with unemployment/being broke is a drastic rise in crime which I'm sure we will inevitably see.

+1 and with jail and prison overcrowding.... we might as well put in a revolving door. I'm stocking myself up with a few things here and there. But here comes economic collapse...
