Any links for laws on carrying a knife in Indiana? I grew up in Massachusetts and EVERYTHING had a law. They had to be under a certain length, etc.

Are automatic knives, or German gravity knives legal?

Thanks for any help....

I'll have to find a more updated link for you ...
Indiana

I know "assisted opening" knives such as the ones from Kershaw, CRKT, and SOG are legal here.  Most all clip and folding pocket knives are legal, and fixed blade knives ... I wouldn't carry anything that would attract too much attention.  I thought I read somewhere that the 3" rule is pretty standard when traveling (fixed or folding).  And Ballisong's are ok as long as they do not have any springs in them even in the handle lock.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Sorry, should have read the post better.  Auto knives and Gravity knives are not legal here.  Anything that opens with the push of a button is not ok.
