Is the one in Greenwood built yet?  Haven't heard.

If not, where is the best place in central Indiana to buy a shotgun?  Gander Mountain had some high prices. Or in Bloomington?

Not gonna happen.  Cabelas isn't making any money & decided to only build 2 out of the planned 8 or so stores.  Greenwood whored itself out trying to get them here & Cabelas gave them a big F.U.

The proposed location in greenwood was right off of exit99 on 65 (county line  rd). I heard somewhere that they backed out because of gander mtn, theyd draw enough business away from each other neither store would show much if any profit and go under.

none the less Greenwood used to bea nice place... They're pushing for way too much crap these days... plus the less than reputable people moving in. I'm sorry for almost highjacking the thread but its 3am andtimefor me to get off the soapbox.

I drive past that area everyday only thing goingin is a hilton. Asfor "thee best place" to buy a shotgun, depends what you'relooking for.I usually wait around until I see something I like in the EE section here, have one  shipped in from somewhere else... gunshows... His& Hers Target Sports in Sheridan, Elmores, Bradis...? Suppossedly theres a shop here in Franklin off 31 but whenever I pull in  its never open. Best of luck.

The best place to buy a shotgun in central Indiana is the Indiana Gun Club period.  They have over 1000 shotguns in stock and have everything from a $150 beater to $28,000 Krieghofs and Perazzis.

And where might this be?  I've heard of it before but no one has ever given usable directions to get there.

I forgot about them...

go up or down 69 to the 116th St. exit

go east on 116th st. Take a right (south) on Olio road there will be a left before the causeway/bridge

Take the left(east) down (113th st) you'll see it down abouta mile or so on the left yellow sign across from another subdivided neighborhood.
