I agree, however I wouldn't say the Republican Party won - Ballard did most of this on his own, he hardly got any help from the ranks of the GOP in Indiana. I bet they are all behind him now though. So long Fart! |

On tv at work I saw a Democrat representative saying Bart and many of the Dem's were wrongly kicked out of office for the increases in taxes. He was trying to blame Mitch, and said something like the voters were not smart enough to make the right choice based on the media bias. Is it just me or are there alot of people living in a different world to all the problems in Indy. |
That is what we have been talking about at work for months now. How Bart would bankrupt the city and it would be just like Detroit... Good thing that mother f%^ker is gone!

I saw that as well. It is true that county governments don't have a lot to do w/ property taxes, but Bart picked a swell time to raise the Marion County income tax. He promised to save tens of millions w/ the merger of IPD and MCSD then he proposes a tax hike to pay for police. What a dope. His refusal to act on Monroe Gray didn't help him either. Good riddance. |

Bart thought he was untouchable. He should have waited till after the election to hose us on the tax increase. I guess he is not as smart as he thinks he is. I think a tree stump could have won this election. I hope I sleep better tonight. I could not wipe the smile off my face last night long enough to fall asleep. |
Bart paid for his own media bias. ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET, no such thing as bad publicity. Political adverstising paid for by Bart that mentioned Ballard by name. They helped him get free name recognition. Crime, schools, economy, few new jobs in Indy, Bart screwed up plenty without the property tax issue. Then there is the new Dome, who in Marion county does not have an opinion about that! |
