I remember that place fondly, MCRD hasn't changed much I'm willing to bet, but I know there have been some improvements at ITB since the last time I went. 0311 isn't bad... but I'd definitely go for a defferent one, like Recon, Gunner, hell even assaultmen... But definitely stayaway from mortormen, you're blow out your knees.

As far as boot I'm sure you've done your research slw is smooth, smooth is fast. Best of luck.

Hey kid...be sure to post your snail mail address. You should already have it, if not call your recruiter & get it online. It is tradition for all Marines, former & current, to send their recruit buddies mail as a great source of encouragement. It won't be so bad for you at MCRD Sandiego since you get to attend Padres games & relax at Sea World on the weekends, however, getting that moto letter at mail call prior to free time in the evening helps lift your spirits & get you in good with your DI's because you'll be reading that much needed link with the outside while staying out of their hair.
