Well with this move i am leaving my car behind. i am going to need one to find work etc. so i thought i would check /w ya all to see if anyone happens to having a car in desent running order they would be willing to sell. might have a lead on a Suzuki Samurai but the guy wants 1K before i take posestion of the car. *might offer up my AR as colateral but i really don't want to do that*.

and the other thing i MIGHT be looking for is a place to live. right now i am unemployed when i get there so i couldent afford very much in the way of rent perhaps around 400-500 at the most for an apartment.

You shouldn't have any problem finding an apartment in your price range. Here is the online edition of the local newspaper in Anderson. The classifieds have autos and apartments. The only time I've been to Anderson was years ago for a baseball camp at the University so unfortunately, this is about as much as I can do. Good luck and welcome to Indy!

I have an apartment in greenwood for $455 a month all I have to pay is electricity. And that's not their cheapst apartment either. It's not more than 20 minutes from downtown, hell I've made it to fishers in 22 minutes from here before. It's pretty quiet, low crime, not marion county.....

I take it Marion county is probably like Mulnomah county out here... high liberal population that allways try to push through anti gun laws *IE You can open carry anywhere in the state EXCEPT in mulnomah county*

I might have a deal swung for this Samurai but i need to work on it a bit more.

No one cares about your guns here.

Its in the location of 62nd and keystone.

I need 750.00 a month though.

Well I have to admit Marion isn't too liberal but the mayor is trying to push legislation that would basically allow th county to circumvent the state's constitution and allow the county to regulate firearms. So to say no cares about your guns well atleast one person does...

Anything below about 56th st. seems to get shady... stay away from section 8 housing. I've worked all over the city at this point for the most part but also when you pick an apartment/house or something along those lines drop a line.

Broad ripple for $750 a month???  Yeesh dude.  Not to mention the crime rate around the ripple. No offense to you.. I'm sure your place is worth every penny.  I don't think he'd wanna take his guns there though

we would not be able to afford $750/mo even with a roomate not to mention she works in Anderson right now and i dont know where i am going to be able to find work.

her income isent very high at all and we are going to be lucky to afford <$500/mo for a while.
