I could not find the permit thread so.... We finally received our Lifetime Permits on 12/20. The wife and I had applied back on 9/27 or 9/28. Definately worth the wait, but WOW !!! I was getting a little nervous. Anyhow, I found some "pink" thicker stock paper at work and copied our permits. The color matched exactly and the UPS store uses thicker laminate stock also. These permits will hold up better than the last ones and I have a few spares too. Any issue using a "copy" and not the original? Local police (family) wasn't aware of any, and they thought it was just a thicker laminate was the only difference with these.  |
