Hi All,

So here's one.
As an off duty officer living in MD, I usually carry my duty weapon.  Sometimes I carry one of my others... 1911, HiPower, etc.

So, Can I carry my AR15 pistol?  Not practical at all, but it is a pistol..

ETA Asking because I'm getting different answers from work.

you getting different answers  from work is the real problem, MD gun laws are so screwed up that not even police officers can understand them to even try and enforce them!

What would you do if you see a person carrying a AR15 or AK47 pistol?

Unless you are intending on using the Ar15 pistol for some varment hunting why would you even consider carry it?

Would never carry it, just more of a theoretical since it's technically a handgun.

Maybe as a car gun, back and forth to work....
