Best guy I can recommend is John at Centurion Tree (Jarretsville) (410-557-7301).  It's his own company and he does all work with his own crane (no rentals).  Biggest and best equipment, so does work very fast.  All limbs lowered to ground with crane (none cut/dropped) (as long as crane has access). Thorough cleanup too.

He's done work for me for years as well as my dad and FIL. Just had him out the other day to quote on more work (sigh).

Not the cheapest guy, but FAR from the most expensive.  Very reasonable overall based on the quality and speed of work.  Nice guy to boot.

He'll usually cut deals if he can leave chips and/or get paid in cash.

No affiliation - just a very satisfied customer after numerous jobs for me and my family.

About 1600 to remove a 60 to 70' pine tree is what I have been quoted from 2 companies.

+1 for John. I''ve used him 3x's in the last few years and he's ver good. he's removed several trees and trimmed my trees for me and the priece were competitive. he may do a cash deal or multiple tree deal...i was able to bargain with him.

It's a 60 to 70' tall pine that forks in the middle.

I worked for a tree company a loong time ago (25+ years).  Price can vary a lot for the same size tree depending on the location of houses, garages and power lines.  I would guess this is still the case.  Good luck!
