Your votes DOES matter.  If you know of a single like-minded individual who plans to sit out today you've got to get them out.  Today's results will be determined by which side gets more people out to the polls.

Good luck everyone.

Me too. The real bitch (no pun intended) will be if Pelosi gets control of the house. Might as well kiss all our guns good bye.

I hope every MD arfcom member voted today. 5 minutes to go.

Tomorrow we could be in for a world of hurt.

Same thing on Fox with O'Malley.  Seems they're basing it on exit poll numbers.

At 830 CNN had Cardin and O'malley not only winning, but taking every county in the state.

It's not looking good for us right now at almost 11.  John Giannetti isn't doing well, neither is Dwyer.

We're all screwed.  Let's hope things are still too early.

My wife and I both voted... and bother (R). Looks like it didn't help much. Looks like MD is pretty 18 shades of blue today. Oh well... I tried. Now I have even more motivation to stick to our schedule of getting out SOON!!!

I voted yesterday too.  Didn't seem to help.

Not only did it go bad at the national level, we're in a very bad way here in the state level.  If there isn't a national ban, you can bet the contents of your gun safes there will be one in MD.  That's the same as a guarantee.  I just need an AK and probably one more stripped AR lower and a bunch of mags and I should be ok.

I'll be more than happy to leave MD if the state ban happens, but if it's a national ban I guess there will be no safe haven.

Time to start planning for a .50 as well.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be going after those either with the AWB or as a seperate issue.  This was a costly election in more than one way.

Not busting your balls, but that's a temporary solution to a permanent problem.  They won't just say,"great we've got Maryland locked up.....let's stop there."

Have you seen the political makeup of VA, for instance, lately?  How about PA?

All of those new houses in Southern PA and NoVA and the Shenandoah Valley aren't being built for native of those states.  They are almost uniformly from NJ, MD and MA in the case of the Valley.
