After looking at the MN bowhunting regulations, I am wondering if a wrist release would be considered a “mechanical device” that would draw, hold, or release.

Any links would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

I've been using a mechanical release since day one...  30+ years in the stand...  As long as you are physically drawing the bow, even with the release attached to the string or a loop, I think you're golden.

Read the book again. It’s very clear. A release is legal.
