So,
Anyone around the twin cities doing any long range precision shooting!? I'm just working my way up the yardage... I'm about 30-45 north of the cities... Just bought a viper pst 6-24x50 ffp mrad for my black rifle... 5.56 20" free float magpul prs stock...etc I have only 250m range at home right now...might extend it out in the spring... Build my guns at home... Just wondering if anyone around the cities... Thanks Bret |
| I belong to Gopher Rifle and Revolver Club in Harris and we have an F-class league, as well as benchrest, hi-power and palma leagues. Our range goes out to 1000 yards. I will be shooting F-class for the first this year and am looking forward to it. We always have a waiting list for membership, but I don't know if you need to be a member to shoot in the leagues. I'll be looking for the posting for leagues... Right now I'm waiting on my larue mount for my scope... Don't know if my current setup will be good for league...including me... I'm glad to see some long range shooting in the area... In the mean time... I'm going to mount that scope to my black rifle and might take a bit of time at the 100m range and start getting it sighted in...
