Pardon the question from the east, but my wife and I attended the MN state fair several years ago and there was a great place serving up buckets of just-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies.  I don't remember the name, but I can't find it on the MN State Fair website.  Anyone know the name, or did they stop selling the cookies?  (Not sure I'm going to go, if the cookies aren't there...)

You can also find them at the grocery store in the frozen section.

A few years back and friend and I tried to avoid the gigantic line and offered to buy a bucket off of a land whale that was holding 3 or 4 buckets.  From the look on her face you'd have thought we asked to butcher and eat her cat and child at the same time.  So I did not get cookies that day.

The frozen ones are decent, I did end up buying those at the grocery store once.

Aren't they usually located just west of the grandstand? Haven't been there in a few years and need to make a trip this year

There are two locations. Yes one is just West of the Grand Stand right by Famous Daves. The other one is Carnes between Nelson and Underwood street. It is down the block from Ye Old MIll ride and around the corner (south and west) of the Giant Slide.
