[ARCHIVED THREAD] - MN HTF Logo? (Page 1 of 2)
|
I think it is perfect as is.
I prefer the subtle approach due to OPSEC/PERSEC. Gun logos tend to garner more attention than I want and announce to others I have guns at home. I don't even put my NRA sticker on my car. But I do have a subtle ARFCOM BFL on there, most folks won't have a clue about the meaning, those that do know are very unlikey to be a threat (exept for the builttoughf250 guy, he's freakin' dangerous YMMV |
|
i agree most people would not know what the BFL is even if you told them.....but we would......

But to you folks, it is no secret I own guns, and the risk is lower in this crowd than in the general public. Quoted:
needs a bitchin assault tier one mosquito. Hmm. You are on to something good with that idea, IMHO.

im the OPSEC type also. everytime i think about putting a Dont Tread On Me sticker on my vehicles- then i wonder if that would make my vehicle be more likely to get broken into by someone looking for a free gun, or keyed by a liberal piece of shit. then there is the fact that i use my vehicles for my business, and it might cost me some business. on the other hand, when i pull up to do an estimate and the people have Obama stickers on their cars- the price of the work goes up before i even see the job so needless to say, i do know for a fact that bumper stickers can cost you money |

He's actually A-OK, and if you ever need a tree removed or a stump ground, if you are in his service area, he's the guy to go to.
ETA: thanks for the work on this, "live-free-or-die". |

Keep in mind that this project will allow you to mix/match with any other designs. As we continue to create new designs, you can create new shirt options. If you want to keep it low profile, you will have a few choice design to mix from, but if someone else wants to flaunt the love, they can slap a big AR on the shirt and the MN logo too. |

Do we have a logo for the MN HTF? I was looking at the other state logo's in the ARFCOM store. Something like this maybe... http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg133/burris_craig_r/th_MNHTF.png edit to fix link Needs a mosquito with viking horns on it, too Or a mosquito wearing a viking helmet, with the BFL on the helmet
(by viking helmet, I mean the big horned thing...not a football helmet) |

Here's the first concept for you guys. It's kind of out of the norm when you compare it to the other HTF designs, but I was tired of flags and rifles and wanted something that would stand out on the shirts. We'll be starting a second design tomorrow, maybe something with the state flag. http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=29138 Wow, that is wicked cool. I'm diggin' it. |

Would it be possible to incorporate some iconic Minnesota Buildings? 1st National Bank Foshay Tower |

And Landmark would look like a generic disney castle in a line drawing. |
