Is it worth going to?  Any deals left?

I went yesterday.  Typical high prices.  Some stuff wasn't too bad.  Brown Bear ammo in .223 and 7.62x39 was around 37 cents a round or so.  I'm more into the surplus and battle rifle side of things, so I didn't look at the shotguns or deer rifles.

I thought it was alright.  Some guy had Tannerite, but I forgot to go back and buy some.  I bought 4 boxes of 5.7 for $21/ea, which isn't too bad.  I also picked up one of the aftermarker P90 mags for $40.  The girl at the the front door had some nice cleavage!

You know, I was pleasantly surprised with how big the show was, since it was my first Duluth show.

I walked out of there with an 8lb jug of Varget and 1lb of 748 for a decent price.  I was willing to pay a little extra for the convenience of getting something right there.

I also got a stripped lower from Pat, the AR guy that was on the far wall.  He's got my business from now on - decent prices for a show on a lot of stuff, though some of the ammo was outrageous.

I liked the vendors that had cleaned out Wally World of the 100 and 250rd value packs and had raised the prices.

Overall, not bad on my end.  Too bad I didn't bump into any of you guys.

Yeah, don't expect the other local gunshows to be half as good as that one.  DPMS was at it a few years back.  The cheapest AR mags I saw were $15, most were 25 or so.  Lame.  Is it too much to ask for some reasonably priced mags?  Maybe some MRE's from this decade too, that would be great.
