We have lost power numerous times and the area is covered in a thick layer of ice. Trees are broken and shattered and my mighty corolla is covered in about an inch of ice, it is actually kind of beautiful. I'm on the north shore

It was ice covered up here this morning also. The roads were in good shape for going to work though. Sidewalks were like a skating rink. Sounds like lots of snow for Wed.

Got the first thunderstorm of the year in the north suburbs of the Twin Cities tonight. I've heard that we may get snow tomorrow.

Walked my dog in the rain yesterday. Looking forward to another wet dog tonight.
