Snowed pretty hard on the way in this morning. I hope it quits before this afternoon, I'm heading north for my last bow hunt of the season, and would like to get to my dads before the hockey game starts.

If the wind picks up in the sw metro you can say white out and slow driving. 3+ inches and still falling.

this blows. im tired of snow already.

ive always said, after deer season is over, i have no need for winter. it makes my business go FUBAR for a couple of months. in the previous years i decided against plowing, since we didnt have enough snow to justify a $4K plow and wrecking the warranty on my $40K truck.

now, i wish i had a plow. oh well.

i think im going to bills gunrange today. ( north )    i have some extra 30-06 and 7mm rem mag ammo i dont need so if anyone needs either of those we could meet up there.

Pansies!

Last weekend in fargo, wind chills down to -40F (or C) probably over a foot of snow, piling up to 6ft in some areas due to drifting.
This storm will be refreshing!

Well I'm up near Motley, and it's been snowing all morning. I put up a deer stand up around 10:00 and plan to get out by 2:30. Not sure how much sense that makes, but I drove up here to hunt so thats what I'm gonna do. It's going to be a long drive home tomorrow, if the winds pick up.

13 hours worth of being stuck at work at the airport... and another night to look forward to.

Who thought air travel was a good idea, anyway?

Meh, the local media was hyping this hard last night, that was my first clue that it would just be a few flurries.

We're at 4 inches tops in Oakdale, but with the wind the official amount might be higher.

kids had fun today. Made hot chocolate (swiss miss w/mini marshmellows and added 1% milk to cool it off).

Watched "polar express" before nap time and now I get to clean the man cave.

Like a frightened turtle. I did see two deer though. Had it stayed as nice as it was this morning I think I would have seen more. It's a blizzard up here, but the plows have been out and 210 was in pretty good shape.

Drove to Moorhead on Friday and back today.  No problems.  Except when some crazy woman came sliding into my car in Moorhead on Saturday.  Minimal damage for me,  but she took a nice chunk out of the Dairy Queen...

My wife saw someone slide into one of those big red round concrete balls in front of Target yesterday. I think we got about 4" in my part of the metro.

Some r-tard hit me on the way to work today. People for some reason forget how to drive when two snowflakes hit the ground.

ETA: I googled this guy and he's apparently some left wing professor that writes articles about "Bush's Orwellian Society" and "guns don't kill people, six year olds with guns kill people"!

Lots of black ice this AM. Hwy 5 was real slick, with a few cars in the ditch. Think I better get to Menards a lunch for the sack o sand.
