For those of you going to vote tomorrow what time are you going?

I am thinking about going in the morning before work, I am not sure when the polling places open. I'd imagine that the morning lines will be pretty long.

Polling places are open from 0700 until 2000.

I would normally go before work I go into work on second shift, but this year I have to go after 5pm. I have to work first shift this week to do inventory, I'm hoping I won't get stuck waiting for long time to vote tomorrow night.

is there a link to find places in your city to vote?

Hi,
There’s a link on the left hand side of this website that has a polling place locator.
http://www.lwv.org

Here’s an official MN polling place finder. It is not very user friendly or accurate:
http://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/

This year I also have to be at work too early. The plan is to get into the polling location before the after-work crowd shows up, and do my part to keep the country running.

Happy Voting!

I'm getting off work at 1230 tomorrow for an unrelated reason.  Going to vote shortly after that.

I got this email from a buddy at 7 AM.

"CNN just announced that the lines at the poles are extreme... Obama voters are urged to return tomorrow"...

Lol! Wish it were true.

The lines in Edina are insane. I live 50 feet from the door of one of the poles, and its not even funny. I'll wait until it settles down a bit, so i don't have to associate with a bunch of "cake eaters", and "douchbag worshippers".    The police activity is MUCH higher than normal as well. Surprise.

Voted at 7:15, out the door by 8am. The polling officals were short on ballot holders and pens.

If a person had got there at 8am it looked like they would be done in 20 minutes.

I'll be working at the polls from 2 to close.  Making sure only eligble voters get to vote and counting every one of them, including absentees.

Just a reminder, no pins, buttons or t-shirts advertising a candidate.  That is illegal.  If you see this, it is campaigning at the polls and the person must leave and come back.  Typically, judges ask them to turn their t-shirt inside out or something.  Tough but fair, we are!

It my understanding you can take stuff in with you to read, but, as you said, no "literature".

And if you have an absentee ballot, you can drop those off in person instead of waiting in line. (I did that back in 2000 cause I had to catch a flight to San Francisco ... just BARELY made it to the MSP gate in time)

How about black panthers with night sticks? Do I have to bring my own black panther, or with they be provided ahead of time? do they all come with night sticks or do I have to bring one for everyone?

Voted at 7:30 am in Plymouth.  The line was snaked up and down several hallways at the church and the wait was about 45 minutes, but it moved rather quickly.

Was at work with my free Starbucks by quarter to 9.
