I will back from training and will be hosting a shoot for anyone who wants to try out the AR45 carbine that uses grease gun mags, at the Key City Conservation Club near Madison Lake on Sunday, 27 August. The range is East of Mankato. I can't be there on Saturday, which was the original day planned, as I have to run the rappel tower at MSU, Mankato for our new ROTC students that day. This is a BYOA (bring your own ammo) shoot. I will have a fair amount of ammo but I don't know how many will show, so I don't know how much ammo is needed. Also, the 30 rounds mags go fast as the AR45 is a blast to shoot. I plan to have 3 prototypes available to shoot. One has been modified to use Thompson mags. The upper is not finished for Thompson mag use but the lower will available to shoot with GG mags and to display the versatility of the AR45 lower. Justin of CNC Gunsmithing will be there and plans to bring some 10% lowers with him for sale. As we get closer to the date, will set up a link up location in Mankato where we can meet and I'll lead everyone out to the range. Let me know who is interested and who definitely plans to be there.
