My prediction. If Tookie Williams gets executed by Arnold, get ready for the riots to begin.

Fry 'em up extra crispy!

He pretty much started the crips gang right?.  Yeah thanks a lot for that, we really appreciate it.  When will they just crack down and label these stupid street gangs as domestic terrorists.  Cant even rake your yard in the city without some thug on a bike robbing you.

+1, someones going to riot wether they execute him or not.

I think that the punishment/execution should fit the crime.  No more of this pansy lethal injection crap, where they give the guy a seditive before you even get straped down!  Let's bring back hangings and firing squads.  I'm not kidding.

I heard on TV last night that he was convicted in 1981.  That guy has lived about 25 more years than the people that he killed, all on our nickel!  Bye, bye, Tookie.

[bleeding heart liberal] But, but, Tookie was convicted on marginal evidence and most of it circumstantial!!! [/bleeding heart liberal]  LMFAO!!

I think that with today's technology there is a definite improvement on convictions. I'm all for the death penalty in today's world. DNA evidence, better forensics, etc., is unparalleled. Should Tookie die ?? Well, based on the evidence, yes. They way I look at it with the older cases is that they shouldn't have put themselves in a position to even be suspected of a crime and their life would be happy now. But, he did.

I would like to see the death penalty changed a bit. Instead of the numerous appeals, court appearances, etc, you get ONE chance after the initial conviction and sentencing. I would like to see the cases be resolved with two years. It costs the taxpayer approximately $50K per year per inmate and personally, I'm quite tired of footing the bill for so long. Modern forensics definitely plays a part in my attitude. Too bad evidence collection was in it's infancy when he was convicted, but c'est la vie.

+1 with BigRob.  I'd expand it more so as to decrease the number of "life without parole" to zero.  Think of it as taking out the trash...

To execute the convicted, murderous, founder of the crips.
I would pay my own airfare, and supply the weapon, ammunition and trigger time gratis.

Even though he was convicted of 4 murders we must not forget as co-founder of the crips how many other crimes and deaths can he be associated with. I bet his victims wished he would have granted them clemency.
....I bet if our punishments fit the crimes we could curb some of it ie: you rape....you get castorated, you steal....we break your hands, you kill...you die.

I have to admit, Arnold truly surprised me in his decision!!! Now he needs to declare a state of emergency and activate the National Guard because I'm CERTAIN there will be rioting.

Screw him and his murdering ass.  Glad he's dead.  Minnesota needs the death penalty back, and that Gonzalez piece of shit (Dru Shodeen abduction) was plenty of evidence of that.

Maybe if their life is on the line instead of a state sponsored all meals paid for workout club vacation these scumbags will think twice.  Or maybe not, but at least I'll feel better that they're dead and no longer sucking off the public teat.

Minnesota needs more than a death penalty. we need to have more strict laws put into place. and a few judges with some balls. as we all know the laws ,are on the criminals side makes a fella want to just puke
