I suppose I can just call them tomorrow, but can someone tell me if Streichers will sell handguns to non-agency/LE folks?

Thanks all.

Thanks, guys.

I've just contracted Glock-fever after demo-ing several at Bill's North this weekend.

I'm replacing everything I currently own (handgun) with Glock.

When I was last at Streichers a month go, they would not sell new Glocks to any one except LE or security.  They said they have a contract with Glock to sell them at cost to those individuals and could not sell them to the general public.

If you find out differently, let me know.

interesting, I bought a G26 and thought it was just an ok handgun not anything to write home to Mom about. Then I bought a CZ PO1 and now the glock will just sit in the safe now. I don't like the grip angle or triggers of glocks at all, but I have been shooting 1911's most of my life and am used to the grip angle and trigger...

Actually, I'm just replacing my carry guns. A Para C7.45 and a Sig P230.

I had never even handled a Glock until Saturday. I found them to be very comfortable, and a pleasure to shoot, even in .45GAP. My Para will break your wrist sometimes it seems.

I also shot several HK's and a Sig P220 for comparison. I was really pleased with the compact Glocks. I don't like the sub-compacts at all. I wasn't impressed with their compensated models either. I'd hate to have to fire one in the dark. The HK (I can't remember the model) was a pleasure to shoot but sometimes felt funny--very top-heavy, and out of balance.

I only asked about Streichers because I'm on my way there anyway, and I assumed they would carry Glock's complete line.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks, Sully. I'll check them out.

I just called Streichers and they cannot sell directly to the public due to contractual agreement with Glock.

I'm not aware of any other dealers/stores in the twin cities that carries Federal HST (HydraShok Two) ammo, so I always just buy it at Streichers and keep at least one box on hand...

Anybody know of a place that sells it for cheaper?

That is actually a very good price for HST. Also they are about a buck cheaper ($16 and $12.50) a box at the retail location as opposed to online.
