I almost wonder if you wouldn't be better off going the other direction towards the Brule or something. Another option is down my way we have the Clam River which has an area that is said to be very good trout fishing territory. IM if you need info, and I can help. Probably end up being 65-90 minute drive for you. Another one I've heard of is Dogtown Creek that feeds into the Namakagon, but I can't say from personal expereience. I just know of people going to the Brule. If you want a REAL good experience, make the trip to River Falls and fish the Kinni (Kinnikinic) River. |
