this is for opinion/ideas only.  would anyone be interested in spending $50 for a 1 in 100 chance to win an AR style rifle?
i am not selling tickets, but am interested to see if it would be a profitable way to raise funds for my department and am experimenting with different ideas.
thanks for any responses.

i might spend $25, 50 is kind of high.  good luck raising money though!

Youre asking too much. Thats $5000 for an $800 rifle. Make it more like $15-$25 and you'll stand a better chance of selling all the tickets.

I also think $50 is too high. Likeothers said, $15-$25 would be better

$20.00 would be fair.

it's a pre-ban genuine colt SP1 in excellent condition with optics.
thanks for the replies, and i realize it seems high, but it is for a good cause, other than the rifle.

$50 is a little steep for just a raffle IMO. (unless there are multiple prizes???)

I'd definately be in for $10-15 and maybe for $15-20
